Book the space
The Stedelijk Museum Schiedam has recently been beautifully restored and renovated. Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands has reopened this valuable monument in the centre of town on 8 April 2006. Built in 1785, the neo-classic work of the Italian architect Jan Giudici, which houses the Museum, can now be booked as a reception space. The building also features some excellent facilities, such as a Museum Café and the renovated auditorium, providing a simply superb location for not only the less formal events such as wedding receptions, concerts, parties, lunches or dinners, but also for business meetings, seminars, conferences and formal receptions.
Your proposed event can be discussed and arranged in consultation with our floor manager. This can be combined with many of Schiedam 's other attractions… For example a tour with the silent boat, making bonbons at ‘de Bonte Koe' confectioners, a furniture restoration workshop at the Institute for Decorative Art or an evening at the Theatre ‘Aan de Schie'.We welcome the opportunity to think along with you to plan and arrange that perfect occasion for you, at a budget that matches your pocket.
Would you like more information on special receptions in the Stedelijk Museum Schiedam? Please contact Ed van Gulik or Marieke Julius (floor managers).
